Hallway Photos turns a home PC into your family’s private photo library. Use this page for setup help, device connection issues, and common backup troubleshooting.
Run the host
Start the Hallway Photos host on the home PC that will store the family photo library. Keep the PC awake and connected to your home network while phones are backing up.
Create an account
Open Hallway Photos on your phone, enter the PC address if needed, and create your account. Your name, email, and username are stored on your family's host computer.
Can't reach the PC
- Make sure the phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Check that the PC is awake.
- Confirm the Hallway Photos host is running on the PC.
Limited Photos access
If iOS says Hallway Photos has limited Photos access, only selected photos and albums are available to the app. Update your Photos permission if you want it to see more albums.
Add another device
Sign in to your Hallway Photos account, choose to add this device, and enter the six-digit code shown by the host or the account flow.
Delete your account
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Photos already saved on your host are kept; the household owner can remove the library folder.
